The control panel

It's an indispensable tool for updating your data whenever you like. It is your reserved area accessible through Username and Password from the "Update On Line" option. Here you will find all the statistics relating to your presence in IndiPages such as your received contacts, purchase requests, and visits to your pages in the search engine, just to name a few. Using the options from the menu of the page from which is comprised your Control Panel, you can modify, add, or delete the data related to the options you see (Balance sheet details, shareholdings in other companies, directors and executives, company turnover, import/export areas, etc... ) keeping in mind that after 6 months without any access to your Reserved Area (Control Panel) you will be automatically removed from the IndiPages database. This procedure has been implemented by us in order to offer an updated service with the goal of no longer including outdated companies that are no longer existent or that continue to provide invalid data and information. Of fundamental importance are the "Category Affiliations" and "Keywords" options which constitute the necessary parameters for you to be found in the search performed.

The better the data you enter in the menu options' fields, the better will be the contact results of potential partners and clients; this is referring above all to the "Advanced Search" (the most used) which is based on the selection, from users surfing the site, of parameters and search criteria that will allow the viewing in the results pages only of companies that have entered in their Control Panel the data relative to the selected parameters by whoever performs the search. We ask therefore that you pay careful attention to this aspect because an unprovided piece of information or not updating will exclude you from the page of search results and therefore from sure commercial contacts.

After completing the fields in your Control Panel marked with a green asterisk you will be able to view all the data from every company present in IndiPages. Fully capitalize on the IndiPages Services, the only at the global level to offer commercially and financially updated information without payments but accessible thanks to a simple registration!!!

Registration Guide.

Registration in the IndiPages search engine is easy, fast, and free!!!

Follow the steps:

From the homepage click on the option "Register.It's free!" and subsequently click on the button marked "Register as a company".

Create your ID User and Password and click on the "Confirm Registration" button.

Watch the inbox of the email address you provided for a message indicating that the first step of your registration has been completed.

In the same email you will find a link, and by clicking it you will be taken to your Control Panel (reserved area for registered Users). Please note: it is mandatory to click the link on the first email in order to complete the registration and to perform any operation.

When you find yourself in your Control Panel, complete your company presentation by clicking the menu option and entering other data relative to your activity, as, for instance, the company turnover, balance sheet details, import/export areas, directors and executives, etc...

Choose the applicable Category Affiliations proceeding in order of the principal category ending in the micro-category by passing first through the macro-categories (to find right-away your Category/Macro(sub)/Micro you can also make use of a convenient search box inside which you enter keywords that best relate to your business activity) specifying at the last level, that of micro-categories and by using the menu option"Company activity", if you are an importer or exporter or dealer or something else. We advise you to select only those pertinent to business activity. To complete the registration you must select at least one micro-category. Subsequently (see other steps) you can add other categories, macro-categories and micro-categories.

If you like, you can purchase other advertising levels/formulas (First Step - Premium - Extragold -Supergold- Indipages) using either a credit card or, if you prefer, a bank transfer (menu option: "Increase Visibility" from the homepage of the site).

Provide a text that describes your field of work and, if you like, translate it to all the languages you see indicated; browse for your company/ies/association logo; register yourself in other categories and macro (sub)-/micro-categories by clicking on the indicated menu option entitled "Category Affiliations".

Fundamental to the advertisement, is providing in the appropriate form, some keywords indispensable to the "Main Search" ; there is no limit to the number of keywords that you can enter. Remember only to add a comma after every entered word.We advise you to enter the same translated words into other languages,in order for Users in other countries to access your advertisement in the search engine when using the "Main Search".

At the same time that you receive the two emails you will receive a third containing your Username and Password indispensable for accessing your Control Panel after your first registration.Access to the Panel is obtained by simply clicking on the option from the homepage of the site entitled "Update On-Line" and subsequently completing the Log In in the provided fields.You can access your Control Panel whenever you feel like changing or updating your data.

Your visibility. Why you should purchase superior advertising formulas.

The search engine contains 7 annual advertising formulas: Start Up - First Step - Premium - Gold - Extagold - Supergold -IndiPages.

The first is free, and comes with the registration in the search engine, and does not expire; the others are by payment and allow you to have better visibility inside the search engine, and therefore a much better position.

Purchasing a superior advertising formula is beneficial because in this manner you are placed in a higher visibility position in the results pages. This means that when a User performs a search for "What" by entering keywords (ex: travel) or for "Who" by entering the names of companies or by "Category" proceeding into the search ending with the micro-categories or by using the "Advanced Search" (selecting in this case the desired parameters),they will see in first priority all the advertisers with the IndiPages formula,and then those with the Supergold ,Extragold,Gold,Premium,First Step formulas and then ultimately those with the Start Up formula. It is clear that Advertisers listed in the first results pages have a better possibility of being clicked and contacted and in this sense establishing new commercial relations.

The purchase of superior formulas can be done at the same time as registration after having attained the free Start Up formula, or subsequently by clicking the option from the homepage entitled "Increase visibility" where you can certainly purchase either superior formulas to those you have already attained or by former purchases.

How and why you should fill-in all the provided registration data:

Filling-in the registration data.

You will be asked key details about your company/ies/association such as: Business name, address, telephone numbers, tax code, company website, pertinent category affiliations. Some details are mandatory while others are optional.

Attention: to complete the registration you must fill in the forms by using the menu options. Otherwise your company will not be visible in the search engine.This means that every time you log in you will be asked to complete registration and until then you will not access all the features of the site.

In this area as an Advertising User, you can, by clicking on different menu options to the right of the page such as: "Keywords", "Company Description", "Company logo", "Company details", "Branches", "Import/Export Areas" and still more, complete in detail the information on your company that will be better visible to other Users that visit your Advertising post. The more information you provide, the more commercial contact you will receive. For every one of these options there will be mandatory fields and optional fields (gray asterisks).

The key points lie in the fields marked with green asterisks. By filling-in these key fields, you will be able to view all the data from the other Advertisers present in the database. Therefore, in order to view all the data from the companies, you do not have to make any payment (Users with the Start Up formula can view the same available data as a registered User with an IndiPages formula), but simply complete the specific fields (those marked with a green asterisks).

Fill in the areas of the site. IndiPages searches:

The site is entirely available in most international languages and can be consulted by visitors choosing their own mother tongue for all the functions including that of searching. Other than the choice of language it is possible to formulate searches for companies in your own country, from continents or macro-regions or for the whole world . The viewing of data is partial for non-registered visitors while for company Users it is total only after having performed the Log In by entering their own ID User and password so as to be recognized by the system. Performing the Log In, the site, all the searches and the company cards are already visible in the chosen language at the moment of registration in the search engine.

Searches are of 5 types

Main Search. It is the classic search where there is a product or even a key word entered. For this it is important for the Advertising User to furnish their own control panel with the most keywords possible at the time of registration and subsequently thereafter, possibly translating them into other languages so as to also be more visible to visitors from other countries. This type of search is the first that is available through a box in the homepage of the site where the visitor can also indicate the country , the region, sub-region, province, district, county, town or city that interests them in order to find companies with characteristics corresponding to their search.

By "Category". By clicking on the "Search by Category" option one proceeds at first by choosing the principal category (1st level), subsequently one sees the macro (sub)-categories (2nd level) finally arriving at the micro-categories (3rd level) choosing those, one comes to the results page where the registered Advertisers are shown in their micro-categories. Also for this type of search the visitor must select first the geographic area from the drop-menu

The "Search for hotels". After having selected the geographic area of interest one clicks on the related "Search for hotels" option and one sees a search box with different options to select from (3 stars, 4 stars, 5 stars, etc...) and the text field where one enters the country, region, sub-region, province, district, county, town or city and returns to the results page containing the accommodations with the desired characteristics.

The "Search for restaurants" is practically identical to that of hotels, differing only in the type of company used for the search.

The "Advanced Search". It is the real strong point of IndiPages.

It is accessible only to registered Users, both paying and non-paying, and permits you to perform specific searches for parameters and criteria indispensable for a B2b at the height of your expectations. Finally a most useful service for your business... practically at zero cost!!!

You can select as a search parameter, for example, the turnovers of companies with which you want to contact, the geographic areas from those available, where they export, the company directors, the financial parameters, the company balance sheet and many more, so as to be sure to establish business relations with the best partners.

Once the search has been run one will see all the companies corresponding to the selected parameters and for every one you can also print the "company card" in pdf format.

For all the searches, when the results page becomes available with the companies corresponding to the desired criteria, you need to only click on the name to go to the description page for every single company. Here one sees the principal data such as the address and telephone numbers as well as the company website if provided. By clicking on the menu options to the left one sees all the other specific data such as the branches, list of associates,shareholdings in other companies, balance sheet details, etc... In order to see these data one needs only to be registered and perform the Log In. As already said, some of these data are available only to registered Advertisers that have completed the registration fields marked with a green asterisk.

Registration as a Private User.

Registration in the search engine is possible also for individuals who are interested in consulting the IndiPages database for personal use.

It is sufficient to click the option marked "Register. It's Free!" from the homepage and in the subsequent page click the button "Register as Private User" . Attention: it is mandatory to fill in the fields in the registration form that you find when you click the link on the first email registration. Otherwise you will not have access to all features of the site and every time you log in you will be asked to fill in the registration form.

The Private User can perform all the searches exactly as a company User and is allowed full access to all the data from every company present in the database only if they have sponsored 10 Private Users whom have completed the registration. For this purpose the registered Private User can use a standard sponsoring email that was sent to their inbox and that they must circulate to friends, acquaintances, colleagues; this email shows a sponsor code number comprised in a link by clicking which the potential new Private User is directed to the registration form for Private registration. The Sponsor code number comprised in the link guarantees the attribution of every new Private User to the User from whom it was sent and we promptly inform the User of every new registration that was successful, and therefor attributed to them.

Private User can also update their own data by clicking the "Update on line" option from the homepage. As for Advertising Users (companies), after 6 months without having performed any access to their own control panel, the Private User becomes automatically deleted from the company database (the database of IndiPages).
